That would mean they'd have to acknowledge that they are accountable for their own behavior. It means giving up the "institutional racism" myth and admitting that white people, as a group, aren't really oppressing them.
Unfortunately, there is a loud minority of black people who feel that they are part of a protected class. The attitudes of those people need to change so that they don't look up to asswipes like Al Sharpton.

People need to socialize. Even if it's with just one or two other people. The desire for human interaction is in our bones. That's why bars, restaurants, clubs, gyms, etc etc are all so successful (when run correctly).
My family broke quarantine a while back and have been having regular family get togethers (of more than 12 people) for a long time. I would've gone earlier but my wife wanted to "do the right thing." At Easter she had a breakdown. We started all getting together after that and do so every weekend and everyone has been happier because of it.
All things considered, the economy is shifting, because the demand is shifting.
COVID was a mess, but it demanded manpower in different areas.
What happens when we get back to normal?
A local restaurant opened up a ton of outdoor tables and tents to get around Lujan Grisham's BS. This place is usually packed to the point of standing room only in the lobby. What if that lightbulb goes off and they build an outdoor patio to handle more customers. People gotta wait tables and cook for them.
Other restaurants are going takeout/delivery-only until the stupid mask crap goes away. Other businesses are not bothering the customers about masks.
Takeout sadly doesn't have the same kinds of margins, especially when delivery companies get involved (another reason I never use them.) I saw one takeout place near my parents' house suddenly become home to people camping out on the lawn and parking lot to eat. The restaurant couldn't give a shit.
I'm being honest when i say this, but i fully expect them to detonate a nuclear weapon in an American city to stop Trump. They will do anything. Nothing is off the table.
The Dow is around 26,000. We're only a few thousand points away from being back to pre-covid numbers. The left told us it was worse than the depression, yet, here we are, not doing nearly as bad as originally thought. Trump won't get any credit, even though he received most of the blame.
