They did "interfere" it was just non-effective. They always interfere though. They riled up black lives matter, they riled up the counter to BLM. And so on. It just wasn't effective.

Saying Russia interfered, on anything, is entirely non-controversial. It is also a constant so moot to even mention.

The use of the term "Russian interference" is now synonymous with "Russia hacked the DNC and gave Trump the presidency." There is no proof that Russia, the Russian government, really did anything here. The cases against the indicted Russians have been dropped. No Republican should ever utter those words. Lindsey Graham went so far as to say "Russia hacked the DNC emails" at this week's hearing. He appears to either be an idiot or a saboteur. It's impossible not to know what happened here.

I get that, and it is unfortunate. But denying they made attempts is not accurate either. I absolutely understand nuance is often counterproductive in politics, but in reality, it is necessary and therefore important.

Exactly what is it that you think the Russian government did to interfere in the election?

A random trolling group buying $5k ad spots to run memes is hardly "election interference" as people understand that term, though.
