they're in for a surprise, National Guardsmen went through basic training and have weapons qualifications just like full timers. Many of us went to desert storm/shield etc...
If you see a shoulder tab labeled “special forces” attack them too. It’s the guys that didn’t score high enough of the ASVAB to enlist. It’s basically the Affirmative Action soldiers, much like the college students that didn’t actually qualify to get into the school
Some might even call them "very special forces". They're easy to spot because they ride in on a short HEMMT.

Yes, but Ranger/Seal/Special Forces members are superhuman.
Whatever training there is, they'll be the best at it by far.
And then they get more and more training.
I honor and respect nearly all vets.
But R/S/SF are an order of magnitude more dangerous than average!
It's honestly not even their training. I mean, yes, they are far better trained than the rest of their branch, but my God, there is nothing that could ever make those people quit. They would spit in Satan's eye and call him a pussy before they give an inch.
