There is no plan for law and order. They're going to harass business owners like that poor baker in colorado or outright destroy the stores like these riots. They're going to harass churches like the people spray painting, leaving nails, and burning them down during the covid shutdown. They're going to go after white people and push them out of the city or kill them in the process.
Who are going to call? The cops? And there are minimal 2a laws there for defending yourself.

But, this shouldn't be a surprise. People who are willing to believe that riot police makes society distopian are looking for any reason to fight against reality. Feel free to speculate on this. We Americans looking for prosperity and freedom under out Constitutional Republic are their natural enemy, it seems. Anything we support, they hate, because they hate us and what we stand for, America.
We can only pray that this participation award generation will fizzle out as the swamps transgressions further come to light and are made publicly known. The Great Awakening.
Good reference to the Cyberpunk genre. I remember in Shadowrun that municipal police were supplemented and eventually replaced by Lone Star - basically a Blackwater style of private law enforcement. As society decays, I have come to believe that a subscription-style policing is possibly 10 to 20 years away for people who really want to be safe.
