When I go for runs in my neighborhood in Texas (liberal big city though), I always pass this house with a giant american flag waving and instead of some Brinks or ADT sign, there's a sign with a picture of a burgler with a target on his chest that says "Trust me, there's nothing here worth dying for".

So big salute to you, fellow based Austin suburbs guy if you happen to browse TD.Win.

It helps the pronunciation if you hock a big loogie right before you say it.

I'd put an invitation flyer in that man's mailbox. He needs to join us, stat!

You have to mail it with the USPS. It's a federal crime to just put a flyer in someone's mailbox, I'm pretty sure.

1
jive-ass-turkey 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah it is, but you can drop it off somewhere a solicitor usually wouldn't to get their attention.

When I was canvassing for a candidate, (now State Senator, you're welcome) I thought this idea up over the many hours and miles of walking.

You might need to get a bit clever but a novel flyer location, NOT the mailbox, would be, IMO, a good door-to-door technique for getting your flyers looked-at by more eyeballs.

No, I don't mean rolled up under the door knob, I said novel. Put it under the Gnome's arm, fold it into a paper hat/airplane/whatever. People love that shit.

If I really wanted to get someone to visit the site, I'd just write "https://thedonald.win" and then Trump2020 on a post-it note and stick it to their front door/car window/whatever is most visible that they'll readily see. That'd be more than enough to get me to check it out.

Generally whenever someone sees that another has taken their time to hand-write a note to them specifically, their "marketing defense" will go down and they will be far more likely to actually read and consider whatever it is you want them to consider. Hell, I know I do.

drachennwolf 1 point ago +1 / -0

Put it in the door. I don't believe you can legally put anything other than US mail in the mailbox.

1
Aquamine-Amarine 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't know how anyone is even going to enforce that rule. Some people have gates so you can't even make it to the front door unless you trespass, so the mailbox is the only way you can leave them any written notes.

2
NashvilleTennessee 2 points ago +2 / -0

Tape the note to the gate, duh.

How's Lake Travis doing? Last time I was at the Oasis, you could see an island at the bottom, the water level was so low. And what ever happened to Aqua Fest?

2
-BasedCentipede- 2 points ago +2 / -0

Lake Travis is actually doing alright. We're at 672 feet, which is 8.16 feet below "full". If you were here during the 2011-2015 dought, you probably saw it around 618 or so. It was definitely disheartening. But we're doing much better now.

2
ZerioctheTank 2 points ago +2 / -0

Water is still low. It seems to be the norm unfortunately, or it has been since I've moved here. This is the first time I've ever heard of Aqua Fest. It seems that this was an old school tradition that Austin dropped. Looks like they're using other things to lure people over here now.

We should do this to all stop signs

17
CitizenPlain 17 points ago +17 / -0

Yes! Was going to say this. We should have stickers made and plaster the nation with these just like this.

8
RiverFenix 8 points ago +8 / -0

There's a street post not far from my house with a 6+ year old 'Stop Harper' sticker still going strong, if not a little sun faded.. LOL

Funny how these Soros campaigns have a way of lingering and forming a pattern..

2
NashvilleTennessee 2 points ago +2 / -0

Probably misdemeanor vandalism at the very least. And defacing traffic signs of all things is really playing with fire. If a vehicle crashes and someone dies, an attorney may get it in their heads that the graffiti caused the driver to not understand the sign, or distracted them, and now you're facing felony manslaughter charges.

2
bill_in_texas 2 points ago +2 / -0

Gonna have to disagree with you there, 'pede. Defacing public property isn't the way to go. If we were talking about chalk, or something that would wash off in a rain storm, I'd be less opposed, but still.....we should be above that kind of thing.

Leave the graffiti to the leftists.

2
TxSheepdog3 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, good points...Ok then, I do take it back. This post just brought back memories of things I DIDNT do to stand up for liberty back in the day. But I wouldn't do it again, for sure. I'd be in custody in 2 min! Only in extreme emergency should people do stuff like that.

1
TxSheepdog3 1 point ago +1 / -0

Doing stop signs is Old School--low tech but effective. Used long before social media existed. I never pasted Infowars stickers on them years ago; that's a conspiracy theory

True story. A few weeks ago, somebody put the word TRUMP on a STOP sign, in the same position as 'Media Lies' in that picture. This was in Huntington Beach, a pretty conservative town and this was during the whole beach closure battle that was going on. So anyways, I spotted it on a Saturday afternoon, couldn't have been there very long because I walk the neighborhood pretty often. Later that night I come by with a footstool and scraper to do some cleanup and found that somebody beat me to it. Whoever that hero was, he or she had removed the T, R and P leaving 'UM'. To this day the STOP sign still reads 'STOP UM'. It's great to live in a town with a sense of humor.

4
Freedombunker 4 points ago +4 / -0

Where do you live? I need to move to a more based area of Cali.

6
HowdyModi 6 points ago +6 / -0

I dunno, being right-leaning in a liberal area sometimes seems like the best of both worlds. I can find pockets/neighborhoods that are obviously more conservative all the while being 15 minutes away from all the excitement that liberal areas have to offer. But because I can see through the bullshit when it happens, I can optimize my decisions In a way that lets me have my cake and eat it too.

To elaborate further, large companies are often concentrated in liberal areas, so I heavily benefit from that. And your run-of-the-mill liberal isn’t like the crazies you see in the media. Just people going about their lives who for some reason default left cause all their friends do. Otherwise nice people.

In short, I like being a conservative in a liberal area. So extra thanks to you all in other areas who help to keep the presidency right leaning!

I'm in the Antelope Valley in a little town just outside of "the city". Horse country, ranches, cherry farms, good people.

instead of saying man defends himself from looter its " WHITE MAN KILLS BLACK LOOTER"

its particularly evil

4
YouKnowWhatItIs87 4 points ago +4 / -0

What’s ironic is a lot of these so called protesters or rioters are fed up with the media as well. Idk why exactly, CNN building got attacked, but are they fed up with being manipulated into thinking some systemic injustice exists in this country that’s perpetuated by the media, and yet they still protest over it? So they’re fed up with the media, but simultaneously do exactly what the media wants them to do. All in the name of Trump. This ain’t hard to figure out, they’ve been calling Trump a fascist for years, and what better way than to blow an isolated incident WAY out of proportion to potentially provoke Trump to act like a fascist (aka override governors and send in military to clean up and dominate the streets, as he should’ve IMO). This was a coordinated effort by a lot of powerful people and orgs, after Russia, Impeachment, Coronavirus and many more petty attempts failed, this is their new play. It’s too conveniently timed, not trying to sound conspiratorial but please fellow Winners do not forget this as Election Day approaches. This has been 3.5 years of nonstop attacks on our leader, our country, our God, and our way of life. Recognize!

It doesn't stop them from letting MSM tell them what to think.

Could someone explain to me what about this word, “based”? A few months ago nobody used it.

I guess “based” is the contrary of “woke” (but not the same as unwoke), right?

6
based_unicorn 6 points ago +6 / -0

Based has been used since at least 2016 (hence my username I brought over from reddit). Yes, I’d say based is the redpilled version of woke.

Not clown world

3

I thought it referred to believing strongly in your point of view, for us pedes, rooted in reality. You know when they try to get you to apologize or retract some RealTalk, you won't, because you're based in reality and truth. And also you dgaf what shitlib feelings you hurt.

5

They get extra points for putting it at the exit of the neighborhood so everyone sees it

4
RiverFenix 4 points ago +4 / -0

The key is only putting up 3-4 at a time, in random locations (not all in one subdivision) so they don't 'know' about it and proceed with cleaning the stickers off all the stop signs one afternoon. Also be prepared to replace them frequently.

there are tricks on where to put stickers for both maximum effect and minimal chance of being removed by city workers..

somewhere someone will see it while driving, but unable to stop/slow/pull over (like an on-ramp or overpass) or behind boxes that run alongside train routes..etc.. the back of signs is also a decent option as you'll give a sort of 'easter egg' to kids looking out the back window.
