I just saw a headline

‘White people: do something,’ Ann Arbor protest organizer says during march through neighborhoods

And I want to ask them "what do they want me to do?". People widely agree the cops actions were wrong and 4 cops have been arrested. The problem now is the lawless rioting, looting, assaulting, and destruction. What is the solution they are looking for?

It then occurred to me that there are no solutions because the problem is not real. Perhaps this is obvious to everyone by now but it hit me more clearly today. The left creates fake problems like "systemic racism" and "equal pay for women" that have no solutions. There are no solutions to these problems because these problems provably don't exist!

There is no "systemic racism" in this country.

  • 93% of Black homicide victims..... are killed by other Blacks.

It would be: 93% of Black homicide victims are killed by Whites if there was "systemic racism".

“Have you ever been turned down for a mortgage because your black?.....”

Who’s turning down all these qualified minorities? That doesn’t sound like racism it sounds like a bad business decision.

If there's any systematic racism, it's against whites. Affirmative action and diversity measures are anti-white discrimination measures, and they're systematically infused through our institutions.

Socialists are claiming that the grounds for the "systematic racism" charge are the inequalities in wealth, position, etc. Inequalities between black and white, or brown and white, are, by themselves, evidence of racism. That's stupid, of course. It's a somewhat clever disguise for the socialist concept of "justice", where everyone, regardless of merit or circumstances, has all the same stuff, all the same material resources, all the same opportunities.

So true. I haven’t seen people offering solutions because there’s not a problem. Where are the calls to personal responsibility? Like take care of your family. Feed your children. Model accountability. Pull up your pants. Do they really need to hang down to your knees?

I don't think you have it exactly. It's not that they don't have solutions. It's that they won't accept anything less than you bowing down to them and their demands without question. They want you to be a slave.

If their goal is to enslave me that certainly fits with they use of violence all over the country.

ShitOfPeace 3 points ago +3 / -0

It fits because that's the answer. They want you afraid to speak up, on your knees asking them what they want you to do. Then they'll demand compliance no matter what.

White people: do something,’

Maybe the thing I should do is vote actual conservatives but I already do that. Maybe they should do something and stop voting for democrats from top to bottom.

Ya, you gotta be pretty stupid to blame government for all your problems, when the people you vote for, for decades, are the ones in power in your area.

The solution to the problem is fixing the inner city black ghetto culture. It's that simple. People like to make it more complicated than it really is.

de9ebkmd7 [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Exactly but that requires the protesters to identify the real problem. So far they haven't.

The Dem solution is to disband the police departments and give the monies that went to the police to the black communities?? TOTAL INSANITY!

Whatever they think this "systemic racism" is, is mostly self inflicted. Yes, it originated in the past but most if not all remnants of that is long gone. Imo,they are holding themselves back, constantly being told they're victims, pushed by the Dems to use the race card in almost every situation. Its not a skin color issue. Its a cultural issue. If it was a skin color issue, why do African immigrants do better in the US than African Americans? At some point these people screaming "systemic racism" have to ask themselves how much responsibility falls on black people themselves. A little? Somewhat? Alot? I dont know, but the question has to be asked in order to have a meaningful conversation, instead of just screaming "systemic racism" all the time.

It is though. Colleges and jobs are allowed to discriminate for the sake of "diversity". That's quite literally systemic racism.

Very true!!

And for them, a problem which can never be solved is the best kind. They've been "fighting" this imaginary boogeyman for decades. It'll never end, because it's not a real problem.

I’m sorry to disagree OP. systemic racism is here. It’s evident when the system encourages black fathers to leave their families so they can get extra government assistance. And yes, we need to end it because black families matter.

You are absolutely right, the systemic racism is real and from the democrats. But i'm not entirely wrong either because that very real racism is not what any of these protesters or rioters are complaining about! They are fighting against a fake problem!

So it's kinda like "The Emperors New Racism". Only a select few can actually see it.

All of that "support black Americans" amounts to nothing at the end of the day they are no better off. Perhaps the lack of support is not the issue after all.

The irony inherent in their demand is hilarious. They are so disempowered in their minds that to solve their problems they are asking white people to “fix it.”

I've realized leftist apply the same to their arguments for their actions. Make up a lie that fuels emotion to their cause and then after a few days or weeks once the few people who bothered to research to see that it was a lie, their voice of truth is ignored or suppressed. A new lie is created to direct more action and the cycle starts all over again. This is exactly what the media has been doing.
