We are all responsible for this. This is the end result of the millennial generation being handed everything. Lacking a sense of accomplishment of their own, they are awash in guilt at having an easy life.

I meant that Gen-X were mainly raised by boomers and younger members of the silent generation. Why are they generally middle of the road politically, while Millenials and Gen-Z can't stop blaming boomers for problems? The older Gen X members have went through atleast 4 recessions in their lifetimes. The older and younger ones have been through 3-4 wars depending on your definition.
The list goes on- Gen X has had more setbacks and disadvantages than Millenials and Gen-Z, yet they're not constantly harping about how things are so unfair-
Some Gen Z and Millenials actually believe anecdotes like:
"My dad worked at McDonald's and he was able to buy a two story house, 2 cars, put all 3 of his kids through college, and vacation at Disney World for two weeks every year." I can barely afford my craft beer and bacon wrapped avocados
