I can perfectly understand how a black person could feel, just how I could understand how a Jewish person felt or a soldier in WW2.
That's one of the best parts about humanity, that we can understand things without having to live through them ourselves.
I've felt pain, I've felt hate and exclusion. And I've felt love, and acceptance and caring. It's easy for anyone to put those things to what someone describes and feel at least some of what they felt...well it's easy for people with real empathy.
