Actually, Maple syrup was invented by an American, but the trees in Canada just has a larger quantity and capability to produce it. Doesn't help that Pseudo-Environmentalists(fakes that love to virtue) like to strangle things here as well. Factually, the real environmentalists are Conservationists.
