On this board we have "Trust Barr". And while Barr is WAY better than Sessions, today Lisa Page became analyst on MSNBC bashing our president. Barr should have indicted those who violated the law, he did not. That is a fact. Now he may still come through, but that is guessing/hoping.
Until we learn to judge people by their actions (what they did or did not do) and results (what was the outcome or lack thereof) we will continue to support the wrong people.
For example, we should not in a hundred years support lawyers for president. A president needs to primarily get stuff done. Lawyers are good at talking, entrepreneurs like PT are good at getting things done. That's what we need.
Actions and results over words. Once people really embrace this then we will stop being fooled so easily.
Barr also did NOTHING about Epstein. Only thing that came out of it was the memes. The DNC image could have been shattered if Barr's DoJ got to the bottom of it.
I still don't understand why or how these people are able to keep their clearance. If I leave a job I have to turn everything in and I have 0 access to anything. If you are retired/fired/left. he needs to pull everybodys clearances.
I agree with your concerns, however, even if Trump agrees with you and decides to replace Barr he won't do so until after the election.
Replacing him now vs five months and a day from now doesn't accomplish enough to overcome the potential political liability. Post election that math changes drastically though.
We won't know what GEOTUS really thinks about Barr until Nov 6th, IMO.
I see both sides of the argument on Barr, but I'm not going to pretend I know better than GEOTUS or his people when it comes to making that call.
That's their job and the reason I voted for them.
Ultimately I think if he's dirty then they know it and will replace him.
Barr is the best that PT could do with a very corrupt Senate. But between hopefully landslide wins for him AND the Senate and a Grenell gambit, maybe we can get an outsider appointed who will actually DELIVER justice.
I hear you, but I disagree.

That might be naive, we'll see.
You are 100% right.

This is the better method, they should do it this way.
Great call, easy to sell too.
