In the areas that politicians are seriously saying they intend to defund the police -- isn't there one citizen willing to file an injunction to stop this nonsense? Once it gets to the Supreme Court -- I imagine law enforcement would win. We are taxed for defense. And I believe that would include law enforcement.

you are right in a sense that there is that danger, but remember the left actually wants more power over people, not less. they want to co-opt the police and bend them to their will. inevitably they will want to expand police powers if they ever get the chance. as long as they are in control of their policies and behavior.
