I was looking at the same section: I thought liberals HATED the whole "American dominance and values forced on the world" thing. Now they love it? What happened?? It's like the FBI and CIA, they used to HATE them, now they LOVE them! I'm truly confused.

This notion that it serves our interest to perpetually maintain the post WWII subsidization of Europe, no matter what, is preposterous. Ditto Japan. Ditto Korea.
These Static deployments are a constant draw on our overall effectiness to respond to threats. We are not an Empire but a Nation and our Allied Nations can defend themseles better if they take the Lead in their own defence.. The US can back up our allies and reinforce them as needed and this is much better than leading on every possible front...
