Yeah there is nothing like a "Boogaloo Movement".

It was and is largely an inside joke amongst gun culture, and one that if I had to look at the psychology behind it appears as kind of a nervous attempt at catharsis toward the legitimate and real fear that a coming social conflict escalating into civil war is very plausible and if one were to occur the loss of everything we hold dear would result. So this joke takes that anxiety and packages it in something silly (Hawaiian shirts) as a means of coping with the real and underlying concern with humor.

So basically if you see someone and they have a long post history, are contributors and have thoughtful posting and they make some sort of boogaloo comment you could tell that it's probably someone that is exposed to gun culture over the last few years and is probably not a shill.

However if you see someone and the first thing they say when coming here is "How do you do fellow Boogaloo friends", that's sketchy as hell.

True (as one somewhat familiar with the culture and the expression), although often in a jocular manner, e.g. "Civil War II, Electric Bugaloo!" making fun of the movie and the idea.

That siad, I have NEVER heard the term "Bugaloo Boys" until last night. It is completely inorganic.

Yeah it's taking an inside joke and propping it up as a boogieman.

It's not inorganic but rather a byproduct of reddit learning about American gun culture memes and trying their own hand at it.

I'd say after reading that, you aren't as familiar as you think.

That was the first time I heard the phrase, years ago. Maybe from Kurt Schlicter?

No, do a basic Facebook group search for Boogaloo and you will see many libertarians atheists aligned oddly with the anarchists around 2A which is fine and why I kept tabs on both groups, but the ignorant call of duty wannabee rebel crap against the US is insane and super reactionary playing into the hands of AntiFa.

It has good reason given Dunkin Lemp and other incidents recently but to pretend like they wouldn't be IMMEDIATELY be targeted for wearing USA gear at these riots is naive. They are idealistic and don't have moral guidance, just memes.

They're too pussy to jump on the Trump train to make actual change, instead they want all the love and glory from these virtue hating progressives, with a 2A "gangster" attidute attached.

Just lost people. pray for them as I feel a Charlottesville esc incident is very high risk this weekend.

They know not what they do.

Thanks. I see they are out there now. I legit had never heard the term "Boogaloo bois" on any of the gun subs or forums; it seems so queer it could be a boy band.

"How do you do fellow Boogaloo friends"

Dead giveaway, man.

Thank you. This entire overreaction to something that has existed for years is pretty silly. There's always been joke shirts and hats and things available at gun shows. Now the internet has opened the doors so "normies" can see the memes and they are losing their minds without considering the source they are feeding from.

All these newfags need to drop the zap, grab their meth, FUCKING LURK, and not send shit till they know better.

Apply some critical thought to your fucking sources people.

They sent someone on 8Chan to spam threatening shit and screen capture it. Then the New Zealand fake mosque shooting happened, and immediate the media goes, "Oh, look here at these 8Chan posts!"

How was that mosque shooting fake? I am curious. Please elaborate, if you have the time.

The first thing you notice if you watched videos carefully, if you can even find the videos anymore, is that as he's walking into the mosque and people are running away from him, about 20 feet in front of him, you can see one of his magazines, with the white writing on it, on the floor. When he gets in the main room, every single person in the mosque is already lying down as though they were dead. He fires at them, but nobody moves and there is no blood. As he is leaving, the man he shot in the front hallway coming in, who previously had bare feet, is now wearing blue socks. At one point, when he is driving his car, he takes the 12 gauge shotgun and points it at the windshield, inches away, he pulls the trigger and there isn't even a scratch. He reloads and shoots a gain and there isn't even a scratch. the first time I ever fired a shotgun I was 7 years old in cub camp, and I would say at least 70% of people here would know what a 12 gauge can do. He was obviously firing blanks. The fat woman walking up the road that he shoots, just happens to have a little green branch on the ground, exactly where she has to take a dive. It's a very common thing used in film, they have to give the stunt people and actors marks on the ground to know exactly where the action is going to begin, so they aren't taken by surprise. If you can't put "Film Markers" on the ground, you have to use something, which looks like it may be there naturally. He fires at her, and you can't even see they hits. As well there is way too much carbon coming out of the weapon, which is indicative of blanks. There was a guy in New Zealand who was using the videos to explain this to people and they gave him 20 years in jail for sharing the video. Immediately after that video came out, they had a major move to ban guns in New Zealand.

I have this video on my hard drive, gonna check it out closer. I did notice a distinct lack of gore when I watched it. Thanks for taking the time to write this.
