I don't care what shaving cream you use though (as long as you're not buying it from a lefty company). I just know that Barbasol is good and non-political. There are many options for shaving creams and shaving soaps other than it.
On saving money ... I have a 23 year old pair of clippers... I "shave" down to a 5 o clock shadow. repeat every couple months. I'm so fucking lazy and uncouth it's insane lol but somehow I get away with it. I'm never, ever clean shaven.

The best way to go IMO is Barbasol shaving cream and double-edged razors. Way cheaper and there's no way they'll donate millions to lefty causes.

Thirded. Started using Barbasol the day after that Gillette commercial. Never liked DSC, their website is wonky and I don't need "asswipes".
Buy a double edge safety razor and shave soap. Itll save you thousands of dollars and give you a better shave.

I do the same thing once a week, though that's cause I get shaving infections if I use razors.
