I've decided that I'm above racism. The discussion has become completely unintelligent to the point that their entire argument has no logical foundation for them to argue from.
To accept any part of the argument is to lower yourself so far down into the mud by taking responsibility for things that are not your fault and you never had any control over. The argument at its core is ridiculous and dishonest to expect someone to allow themselves to be blamed for shit that happened anywhere from 30 to 200 years before they were even born.
Acknowledging white privilege will never be a realistic expectation until the black community corrects the issues it has within itself regarding its refusal to adapt their culture in order to succeed instead of trying to do everything it can to keep its members from getting ahead while cutting them down calling them Uncle Toms and race traitors.
Their argument can't be taken seriously while they keep murdering each other but then only bitch and riot when the MSM manipulates them into a frenzy every time it is perceived that a white man may have/has killed a black man. And especially when they protest and riot anyway after the person that committed the transgression has had the appropriate and expected actions immediately taken against them to ensure they are never able to do what they did again.
Instead, as usual, they ignore the real issues in their community involving the crime problem it faces and the destruction of the family unit while they focus on the rare instance of actual police brutality killing one of their people. All the while completely absolving the individual that was killed from any and all responsibility for creating the situation that they found themselves in in the first place.
In the most recent example, Floyd's murderer was wrong and will be disciplined accordingly provided the prosecution doesn't overcharge him. There was nothing else the police department could have done legally to the offending officer. So why the protests and riots? Because appeasement will never be enough and they will always demand action far and above what is necessary and reasonable. I honestly believe an immediate public execution of Floyd's arresting officer wouldn't have been enough to quell their unrest.
