Thank you for posting this. I try telling people to read a little history or shut the fuck up if they think the NG are a bunch of Boy Scouts. A lot of people think they are "only weekend warriors". Every single NG soldier I've ever met was a squared away fighting machine. PROPS!

If you put me in DC at night without a gun I'd do whatever I could. Even during normal times I wouldn't do that unless ordered.
