Long overdue anyways....but asides from the recreational/medicinal use - wait what happens to the worlds industry once hemp is being used again.

As a resource that is...

It is a State's right issue. Remove Federal restrictions and let the States follow as they see fit. It would be very interesting...

Good ol' Gretchen Whitmore won her governorship on this platform. Pot for potholes

Can GEOTUS issue an EO to make this happen?

You think it's outside the realm of possibility that Trump might do something that would be beneficial to someone other than himself?

That's not the Trump I've seen nor the one I voted for. Trump is there to represent us and if this is the popular will of his voters I don't see any reason why he wouldn't do it.

In fact, I think it's easier to argue that legalization is the Christian thing to do because the alternative (what we do now) is far more harmful to society than the plant or it's products could ever be.

So they can triple the price and punish hard anyone who does not have their elite "license". I am for decriminalization, legalization makes it into a well connected $$$$$$ racket.

Name one state with fully legalized marijuana, not medical only that requires someone to carry a license. Decriminalization simply makes it no longer a criminal act without allowing commerce. That's silly.

California

Nope. You're wrong. Anyone in California over the age of 21 can purchase marijuana.

Yes and they check ID at the door. Cali resident here. Must have a valid license to enter.

Be specific here. When you say ID you mean a government issued ID proving your age such as a driver's license. There's no marijuana license required to purchase recreational marijuana.

You just said license. Maybe next time do a better job of explaining what you mean before you get all worked up.

I wouldn't have had to explain any of this had you not implied that legalization requires people to go out and pay for some special license that they don't already have to begin with. It's literally the same document we are asking the government to require people to present in order to vote.

Hasn’t happened in Illinois. Just making a shitload of tax money for the corrupt government which has lost control here. Street drugs cheaper without taxes. Old hippies with no street contacts are buying from the local marijuana store.

It takes a few years for the market supply to become saturated and like we saw in Colorado, when that happens the store prices become much cheaper than street.

In Denver you can get an eighth ounce for $25 and often much cheaper with promotions, rewards offers, coupons, specials etc....

Even in Florida where it's medical only I was able to buy 3, 500mg vape carts today for $45 with a buy one get one free deal combined with rewards points.
