Wow, man. Picturing your relative kept away from his wife of 70 years in the same nursing home...it literally brought a tear to my eye. I'm sorry.

Keep fighting the good fight. The plandemic is over. Now it's time to defeat BLM ANTIFA commie scum.

This would make him smile. I am sorry for your loss and I'm sorry he, as well as countless others, were forced to stare into eternity alone - a complete and utter travesty.

Your post made me break down but your comment made me so proud. We should have destroyed communism after wwii. That mistake haunts us a century later. I'm so sorry this happened to your family.

I never have. My 78 yo husband and I went to stores that would let us in wo a mask more in the last 90 days than in the previous 9 months. We couldn’t go to church or to see friends in senior living, but we saw our kids and grandkids plenty!

I have elderly neighbors who talk to their grandkids through glass doors and won't let them in. I respect them, but if it were me, I'd rather die hugging the kids. And God help the person who tries to keep me from my wife, even at 95. Fuck commies.

Good for you. It's sweet to hear. Churches synagogues not holding service is exactly what the communists and fascists do first thing. They are afraid of people organizing and uniting under a common belief. It threatens fealty to their cause. I'm to hear that you guys are living your best life. May your family be strong, happy, healthy and prosperous.

This is heartbreaking for you and your family and terribly sad to read about. Sending you and yours love.

It's probably too raw now to help but maybe later this thought will bring you peace -- please know that he was comforted by God while he passed. He was not alone in those moments, he was deeply loved and protected from fear. Psalm 23:4 tells us how it will be in our time of death: Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Much love to you.

Wow, pede. That was truly painful to read and thank you for sharing it. Utterly ridiculous. No way for anyone much less a proud vet to spend his final days.

Really sorry to hear this pede, brought a tear to my eye. This is waking up a lot of people.

What's sad is, this DIDN'T bring a tear to my eye. Not because I don't sympathise with OP, but because I've heard stuff like this too damn much. Stories like this should not bounce off of us because they're so common, they should devastate us because they're rare. November 3rd is the line in the sand.

Patriots all across the land have been defying the unconstitutional orders. Some have taken more flak than others. It's time for us to stand up for our rights. If we've learned anything from these last few days is that the government (the blue ones at least) is a bully with a bullhorn but will stand down (and kneel) when challenged. I'm sorry for your loss and that you guys couldn't honor your relative with the full honor he deserved. We are with you here. You are among brothers, sisters and like minded people. God bless

Isolated_Patriot 4 points ago +4 / -0

They stand down and kneel when challenged by the clowns they intentionally riled up. It's all show, they wouldn't hesitate to lock you or I up in a covid filled nursing home and throw away the key.

Not if we would turn out in numbers similar to these agitators. But hey, we're law abiding, have jobs and families to take care of.

And yes...it's all bullshit.

Same thing happened to my grandma, minus the husband being present; she had been a widow since '92

This is heartbreaking. I am so sad for your loss. What an indignity to your wonderful relative who gave so much in his life. God bless his soul and your family.

We experienced this type of lockdown overreach as well. My step mother, who has advanced Alzheimer’s, fell at her senior home in early April and broke her hip. She was whisked away by herself in an ambulance and taken to a hospital, had surgery the next day, where no one was allowed to visit her for two weeks. Not her husband of 45 years, or any family. She then sent by ambulance directly to a rehab center to regain mobility, again with no one allowed to see her. She cannot speak or communicate well and became very confused and anxious without her familiar people and surroundings. After two weeks of this imprisonment, my family busted her out. Her daughter literally called them and said get her ready today, I’m discharging her now. They tried to argue that she needed to stay for “several more weeks” but she told them she had legal authority. They had her sign all kinds of waivers when she showed up and she took her home back to the senior center where she and my dad live. It’s pretty damn ridiculous when we’re forced to stage a literal prison break for the right to have access to our own family members. Complete socialism and loss of personal rights on display. It’s inexcusable.

I've been expecting to see more of these, we know people were denied funerals, we know people were denied, or voluntarily abandoned their loved ones. I expect their are thousands of stories just like this, and it truly makes me sick and angry.

I pray this attempt at a hot coup gets turned on it's head and Trump's plans come together to restore the country soon. I'll wave from the Soviet Union of Canadastan.

me too, no more masks in public. this was all a democrat hoax from the beginning.

Reverend 1 point ago +1 / -0

I went shopping for some items today and stuck to no mask stores. There was something I wanted in another that had a mask required policy and they offered free masks.

I didn't shop there and I won't bend the knee.

That's truly heartbreaking, and one of my worst fears during this stupid lockdown (Canada is still heavily locked down). I am so worried that if my husband or son gets sick or in an accident, I won't be able to be with them at the hospital. There will be no one to advocate for them. It's so wrong.

My parents are in their 80s, and immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands. They still live in their own home. They refuse to comply with the lockdown, masks, social distancing, etc. They say that they didn't live through ww2 just to be stuck at home, isolated and alone, in the final years of their lives. They'd rather live a full life and see their kids and grandkids, hug us all, than live in fear. My dad said if either of them get the virus, they'll just lie in bed together and die, without going to the hospital. It makes me sad to hear him say this but also proud that they stand up for what they believe in and don't live in fear.

Everyone is fed up with this horse shit. Everyone. To separate them like that is unforgivable. They will wish they did not fuck with us.

This is so tragic. There is no common sense or compassion in a bureaucracy. I am so sorry that your relative had to go out like this. People can be so cruel.

Came here to tell you they doing the same to my 90 year old mother, pede. And to make matters worse, they could open the facility tomorrow and I won't see her due to the idiotic quarantine rules for international travel (overseas military). I'm so, so sorry, man. I hope your grandmother and you both get to feeling a little better.

That's not really fair bro, i agree with everything in this except the part about people wearing masks being sheep. Its their right and so long as they aren't forcing you to wear one I think its fine. I wear a mask, because I dont want my at risk family to get sick.
