This is too rich! I'm organizing a get-together at a local arcade for some friends and other people whom I only know as acquaintances. One of those acquaintances asked me "When will the next event be?" and I replied "next month" and their response was "oh, well I think that's too soon but okay."

Literally twenty minutes later I see them post to their circle of friends "If anyone wants to go to the protest tomorrow I'll carpool!"
