I've been rereading Exodus. And an interesting thing to notice: Even after the Israelites were out of Egypt, crossed the Red Sea, saw Pharaoh and his men drown -- they were as free as birds from slavery. But it took a lot longer for them to stop mentally being slaves.

And that's what we got here. Some people are mentally slaves, even though they've never been slaves. And then we have those who are free. And the difference is a state of mind.
