I'm a 35 y/o white male, I've been pulled over or singled out by asshole cops for no reason before. I remember in my early 20's I was heading to the river for a tube float with a car full of girls and I saw an officer was behind me. I stayed the speed limit, an interchange and 5 miles later he's still behind me and I'm still in the far right slow lane while everyone else on the freeway is going by us. So I put my left blinker on and merge into the next lane increasing my mph a bit. I get pulled over right away, officer says I was going 10mph over the speed limit 65 in a 55. I said what about everyone else that was going by? He replied I didn't see them I only saw you.

So I went to driving school and got the ticket dismissed. Had I been a black male I could see how they'd think they were singled out and the target of racism but nope it was just an asshole, they exist and it's not always about race.

Yup. So many lily white suburban whites have no idea how small town/rural white life is. I grew up in a rusty Appalachian small town that was 93% white. I had longer hair and drove a shitty beater in my late teens/early 20s and was targeted by cops way more times than I can count. It's like they think there is only one shared white experience, as if we are all middle class, 2 parent, trust fund babies living in perfect 2 story homes in the burbs. I will never acknowledge "white priveledge" to be a thing. I grew up more poor than most minorities in this country. I bend my knee to no man. Fuck these cocksucking fucks.
