The CCP virus further divided our country (I mostly blame media,) and now these protests and then riots for two weeks in majority liberal strong holds deepens that divide. I see it in TV, the internet, and in my own personal relationships with family, friends, and loved ones :(

I consider my self to have the political orientation of Center-right. The election of GEOTUS and how Dems responded pushed me from center. Now after the two man made disasters I am pushed further.

I think we all feel this to a degree.

My leftist friend of a decade has recently been posting comments on pro violent revolutionary (pro communist in low-key ways) Facebook pages. He is for the rioters, he does not like old white people (even liberal ones.) I assume he thinks his comments are not for public viewing but me and another buddy have seen them. It breaks our heart. This country is the most precious and loved thing to me on this earth besides my own blood. I feel betrayed, sickened, and disgusted. The fact I might need to cut someone out of my life that I’ve spent 10 years investing in and having good times with is horrible. I blame the liberal controlled media for this, I am depressed. I am in heart break for this country.

This community is my only avenue of light.

A very good old friend is a low key communist. I know exactly what your going through. I am angry at the lying media and consider him a victim. He actually knows that a group is behind the riots, but he thinks it's "white supremacists". Wish I had an easy answer, I'm considering removing him from FB, because he put's up one or two posts a day.
