I wanted to downvote this comment, but you're right. The cops in UK stand by while innocent people get hurt, raped, groomed, and killed, then turn around and protect the predators of those violent crimes. As much as I want to disagree just because I largely support our police here, you're right about the police in the UK. (Though I do believe our police need de-escalation training like the military has, and to bear more responsibility for fuckups.)
