only way your going to solve this issue is to sack the entire 7th floor.

Sounds like an acceptable place to start!

7th floor's State Department, not DoJ I think

Not just the 7th floor, the whole organization needs to go. Corrupt from top to bottom.

Thought there was a certain level of fitness required for the FBI.

Considering the FBI isn't looking for honor, they welcome those who dishonor their physical selves. I'm sure that ham planet needed a hand getting back to her feet.

I'm sure that just like the military the standards were lowered to allow certain people into the ranks. Heck... begining in 1931 there used to be a minimum height requirement of 5"10 just to be eligible to join the NY state troopers.

http://www.nysth.com/uploads/3/4/3/5/34355128/chronological_history_of_the_new_york_state_police-mw.pdf

Bottom of page 5:

1931 September 15. State Police Teletypewriter System inaugurated between the states of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. First Airplane (two-seat, open cockpit biplane) purchased for state police use, Troop D.

Height requirement for trooper candidates raised from 5’8” to 5’10”. 25 appointments were made from more than 4500 applicants.

They are a secret police. DO NOT talk to them under any circumstances.

All of these careers in government that require a degree to enter should be considered suspect, even our Military Officers.

You can say what you want about the FBI, but at least it's not the CIA

While they're down there kneeling, they can KISS MY ASS!

Destroy the FBI, the CIA and the ATF!

I assume you are not allowed to "stand guard" seated with your back turned so why is stance this allowed?

Some are clapping.

I don't know what they teach in law enforcement these days, but once upon a time it was that you never surrender your weapon. That you maintain situational awareness and not put yourself in compromising positions kind of went without saying.

2
Choctaw 2 points ago +2 / -0

Soooo, we're going to play the same stupid game BLM does now? One bad agent = all agents are bad? The FBI needs some serious house cleaning, no one could disagree, but to say every agent is corrupt simply b/c comey and a few others are is juvenile and completely illogical.

2
cupocovfefe [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

You're entitled to your opinion. I think the rot is too bad, it's a necrotic agency from a constitutional liberty perspective. My $0.02, chalk up these lessons learned and make a new agency with better safe guards.

2
Choctaw 2 points ago +2 / -0

A new agency isn't a bad idea at all, and I would be highly in favor of that. I just think that we have to be careful using whatever metaphor you want to use to paint everyone in the FBI as bad. +1 for the good response.

2
cupocovfefe [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree with you, not all are bad. And, I also agree there is a need to be full of care, careful, in doing this type of reconstruction. I'm honestly hoping that this is what is taking Durham and Barr so long to get to indictments of key players, and not just a white wash to just protect the institutions as they are instead of doing the right thing for their long term health.
