Long story short. Our neighbors are LIBERAL AF. The wife was reamed online and called racist for saying she doesn't understand why people are burning/looting businesses that have nothing to do with cops or George Floyd. She was heartbroken about getting called something so horrendous knowing she absolutely is not racist. I told her I know exactly how you feel, then came out of the closet as a Trump supporter to her for the first time. Her jaw dropped as i'm sure she immediately went back to the time she told me all Trump supporters are racist and vile (not knowing I was one). Now they ask questions about his policies and want us to teach them about shooting and are planning on buying a gun for home defense.
Keep it up leftist loonies you are handing over some of you most ardent supporters to the Trump train by acting like asylum escapees.
Anyone that questions the riots gets called a racist.
Those people then realise that these are the same people that have been calling Trump a racist the whole time.
I love it.
Goods don’t equal a life, but you can easily start doing some uncomfortable math the longer this goes on. Almost nobody, including the fucking President, thinks the cop should have killed Floyd. It might actually be nobody that thinks that. The cop himself might throw himself under the bus if it were someone else. Nothing done here is going to give Floyd a Phoenix Down though, especially not property damage, or killing more black people than the police have in years over the span of a single week.
That said, Saint George the Floyd is not worth $25 million in property damage, and probably billions of lost revenue to small businesses and cities and people now out of work because of it. He’s also not worth $1 million in damages. Maybe $200k? I feel good about that number. The only nice thing I’ve heard about Floyd to this day is that he could crack a good joke among friends. Maybe make it $220K. And throw in some cocaine and meth. He really liked meth.
That’s to say nothing of the millions of dollars now being embezzled by BLM causes. He also isn’t worth that.
"It's just brick and mortar."
Yeah, that cuck should tell that to the people who's lives are ruined.
Only 68% of conservatives feel Chauvin was wrong. I'm not supporting the truthfulness of that number, just repeating the statistic I read based on polling data. I've only encountered a handful of people here trying to justify it, and they're either using the lamest justifications or flat out not listening to what's said.
That kind of thinking needs to be corrected and is part of the long-term problem, but the immediate problem is the rioters themselves, obviously. And I include in that number those provoking them, which seem to be WAY more than 68% of D's in any and every Official position of authority. Drs included. So 32% of our side is contributing to the problem in an indirect way, while about 98% of their side is DIRECTLY feeding the problem.
Send in the Marines!
I’m watching my gf’s very liberal friends scratching their heads how to make heads or tails of the events. They hear about defunding police and are genuinely wondering if this means they’re supposed to be pro 2A now. The fireworks are amazing.
I have a similar story. The person is a rabid leftist and is voting trump because they said letting trans men that are now women compete against girls and take their scholarships is where they drew the line
At least they had a line. Yeah it takes a pretty crazy person to not see how fucked that situation in particular is.
Hahahaha yes
Most of them already are.
coed naked surfing enters the chat
Classical liberalism is ok. It's LEFTISM that is the problem. Huge difference. Part of what's happening here is the extreme left wing of the DNC was being pushed out, and the globohomos can't have that. So they threw this deadman switch ...
Yeah, sounds about right. Good work.
Let me put this in perspective for the younger folks. I have the luxury of having been alive in 1968 (albeit, only as a kid).
The United States had just seen unprecedented strife and political tension after the assassinations of Dr. Martin Luther King and Sen. Robert Kennedy. The tension was worse then than is now, if only because the phenomenon of black "race riots" *(Did you know that, before 1960, a 'race riot' meant white people rioted against blacks -- not the other way around).
The Left (and the so-called "Right Wing" Republicans) love to remember the '68 election as a contest between Hubert Humphrey and Richard M. Nixon (who had lost to Kennedy in 1960) in which, the later barely squeaked by with a mere 43.4% of the electorate, compared to Humphrey's 42.7%.
However, absolutely nobody wants to remember that their was an extremely disruptive Third Party Candidate by the name of George Wallace (Yes! The famous segregationist evil man from Alabama). Wallace won five southern states and 13.5% of the vote.
if Wallace had never entered the race, do you think those five deep South horribly racist States would have gone to Humphrey? LBJ's Veep? The lead author of the 1964 Civil Rights Act?
Lyndon Johnson could have run for reelection in 1968 but he declined. He knew he wouldn't be reelected and didn't want to go through the misery of it all.
Nixon would, no doubt, have won in a landslide if Wallace hadn't entered the race.
In 1972, the Democrats ran ultra-liberal George McGovern (He wanted to give every single American $1000. Who does that sound like?) and Nixon gave him a brutal beat-down of 520 electoral votes to McGovern's 17 (One state only, Massachusetts - not his home State of S. Dakota) and a whopping 61% of the vote.
In other words, we are looking at a landslide in November and the psychotic T.D.S. press will have a field day trying to explain why there are so many more "racists" there are in America, now that Trump has been reelected.
Wow. Thanks for this. I had no idea history was repeating itself so much. I have also been reading there was a bad flu going around in the 60s. Its crazy that even back then the liberals were pushing free money.
History always repeats. Cold War with China and isolationist time. Here comes American prosperity once again:)
Thanks for the historical perspective
Timed it perfectly. Now to make sure they get training.
yes,I could not stress safety safety safety enough with them. I reccommended our local gun store that has courses to them.
Upvote!
EXACTLY my first lesson was "Treat ever firearm as if it is always loaded even if you know it isn't"
Yeah, even I know that basic rule and I'm not even American.
I learned when I was 7. At the same time I shot the guy standing next to me in the foot with a 22 pistol.
Oh shiiiit ow.
Bushisms
After the la riots we had one of the biggest Republican flips ever. We might see that here
Left California two years ago, never been happier. It is beyond saving, I'm just waiting for that 10.7 earthquake Kurt Russell promised us in Escape from L.A.
Same here. Now I'm in a swing county and my vote actually matters.
Hard to get around that for sure
I think it's important to remember that there are good souls on "the left" who aren't actual leftists but sadly have just been indoctrinated by their toxicity for so many years. It's all they know and have ever knew. Little by little many are seeing the light
I used to be one.
What was it that made you wake up? I'm always fascinated by everyones "walk away" "red pill" "awakening" whatever you wanna call it moment?
I was the self employed idiot who pushed really hard for Obamacare cause my young naive college brain thought it just meant FREE care for all. Well Obama won and my health insurance plan was cancelled and I went from paying 127.00 a month for a private plan to 400 and growing for a plan thats half as good. Guys I'm so fucking sorry I was that girl. I was young, dumb and indoctrinated, but I'm doing everything to make up for it. Someone close to me gave me a book by Ron Paul in 2009 and it all made sense. I went from "the government needs to provide" to "you and only you are in charge of your destiny and we demand the freedom to live our lives how WE BEST SEE FIT" so fast it would snap your neck.
Worry not. In the 90s I was the same. Voted straight Democrat. Back then the poison in them was not obvious to me. - they sounded so attractive to low-wage earners like me. Even though I've never become a high wage-earner, I know now free enterprise and less regulation is the key to success!
Welcome to the light! Ron Paul should be a national hero.
Now we all need to realize who this "invisible enemy" is, that both DJT and JKF talked about. It ain't no virus!
It's not the interest we owe the Fed either, although that's no small matter. It's a privately owned, for profit cop. that was started in 1913 and turned us all into debt slaves. It wields undue influence over academia, owns MSM and big pharma. I never understood why their interest in big pharma until plannedemic. 100,000 dead when it could have been under 3,000, with the same number of cases. Simply by letting sick people have medicine.
Those people are not our friends. King George never engaged in that level of tyranny.
Ron Paul is the best.
Ron Paul was my first love but Donald Trump stole my heart.
There should be a stickied thread on the main page about peoples' red pill moments.
I agree. If you type in "walk away story" on youtube there's some very good examples if people leaving the left
Same thing happened to my sister in-law. She's a life long public defender, and a damn good lawyer. Nothing like the stereo type over worked and jaded PD that doesn't care. She really fights for people. Her pansexual gender non conforming barista daughter called her a bigot for being a part of the racist criminal justice system. Even though she successfully fights to give great representation to all people, including blacks, her job allows racist oppressors to hide behind a veneer of fairness. Her daughter would not be speaking to her again until she used her economic privilege to support BLM in a meaningful way. The response was epic. "I will no longer be paying your rent, car note, or car insurance. I will instead be donating the funds to BLM as your white privilege makes it immoral to offer you financial support. Furthermore your car is in my name. I will be there to collect my car on Friday so that I can sell it and donate the funds to BLM."
Would love a follow up to that one
Follow up:
Reeeeeeeee!!!!! I can't ride the bus! And I'm only 27! How can you economically oppress me by making me pay rent!
Yep, that was definitely part of what red-pilled me back in 2016 - being told I was racist just for not hating Trump.
For thinking the 2 amendment is not to be infringed, here.
Meanwhile I thought I was less racist cause racists would want guns regulated away from dangerous minorities. Fucking NPCs
Yup just had a 45 minute conversation with my lefty loonie pal. They are shocked people want to defund the police and have stopped watching cnn! Hopefully people will wake up.
Man F that...they'll just scatter to red states and continue to screw things up for the rest of us.
Or just take our country back
This is the death spiral of the left. Rigid enforcement of minority opinions drives moderates away. Fewer moderate voices cleares the way for more extreme positions. Rigid enforcement of increasingly unpopular positions drives more moderates away.
There is no way out of this kind of death spiral. Its what losing a culture war looks like.
We have checkmated the SJW movement.
sjws are not the enemy, believe it or not. They are but a pawn. As are blm, antifa, and even the DNC. DJT is struggling not to be.
This is a global struggle. The (few) globalist elites vs We the People. They keep throwing deadman switches and we keep letting them.
Remember: For every case of this we hear about here, there are no-doubt more that we don't.
WINNING
Two years ago I had a friend argue with me about muh social justice.
Yesterday he was lamenting that "it's clear we live in a world where people don't share our same values", and he joked about how white males cannot be forgiven for their sin of being born white.
For once the black community is destroying something that's actually beneficial - social media.
There's going to be mass exodus from social media because of this nonsense. Those people are completely insane and living in a fantasy land of hate.
Democrats have been a cancer since they formed the KKK!
Democrats started for the same reason republicans did, to fight the creation of a central bank. Why are we at each other's throats? Because We the People stopped fighting the creation of a central bank in 1913, and their strategy is to divide and conquer.
Keep up the good work pede, the longer this goes on the more will have questions...
The more left that party goes the more people join our side
Well now she knows what it's like to be called a racist. She was guilty of doing the exact same thing. Karma.
She stopped short of apologizing for that. I think she hopes I forgot she said it. Its water under the bridge to me, I'll let it go and urge her along the right path.
This is the way!
Never shove who to vote for on someone's throat. They'll just resent you for it. Just show them the policies for each side, and LET THEM make the decision.
They also do not need to be 100% on the Trump train. Just as long as they understand if they vote for Democrats they get riots, abolish the police, corporate discrimination of whites in the workforce, etc.
Let me add what I think are the most important bits of your "etc," and these have been true for many years:
"no border, no wall, no USA at all."
That's a recent (and catchy) antifa slogan. It truly represents what any D vote has meant since at least 2016. It doesn't matter what any individual D candidate actually wants, they will be voting in things that advance that particular agenda. The DNC platform should be honest, and admit that is their goal. Everything else is subserviant to this.
This has also been the plan since 1913, which is too big a red pill for many to swallow, and it takes a lot of reading to fully understand how and why. This has NOT been the plan of the DNC for nearly that long. And I only wish that all R's were counter to it. We're seeing that precious few in Office stand int he way at all.
