Forgot to mention the whole truth. Let's be honest. It's because he was black. Not out looting with the homies. A white kid doing the same wouldn't get shit except probably shot, beat, or stabbed.
This is a feel good story, so why knock it?
Yeah sure plenty of great kids serve others and don’t get cars. That doesn’t make their service any less meaningful.
There are things hidden in this life, but are not unnoticed.
The story and reward is entirely about race though. I've helped people before, never got a car and scholarship out of the deal. This man is a good man but the reward far outweighs what he accomplished and you know it. You know this is public because the media wants our perception of race to change.
You know, this might not be the only instance of this kind of thing happening & those people being rewarded for their service to their community (& I’d bet it’s not). Is it not very possible the media chose to cover this specific instance, because he’s black? I think it’s likely there are many people who are helping one another out after this shit tears through their towns. The media won’t tell you about them all. They’d love to pick & choose to report a click-bait feel-good story based on race.
Never the less, this young man did a good & difficult service & I’m okay with people having an attitude of gratitude towards such community pride.
This brings a tear to my eye. Thanks for posting good news in these hard times. REMEMBER FOLKS, JUST BECAUSE A SMALL MINORITY IS LOUDER AND VIOLENT DOESNT MEAN THERE STILL ARENT GREAT AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE OUT THERE. THESE ARE NOT END TIMES!
I am on the autism spectrum, albeit mild in a sense (college degree with honors and a job lined up post pandemic); but I still have some limitations and things that I am significantly behind on, and it is definitely an everyday battle not to lose hope.
The MAGA movement some days is what gives me the strength to keep going when depression likes to get the best of me.
I have been in therapy for years ever since I was little and it helps.
As someone who battles depression regularly but never sought help, you’re already doing more than me. Unfortunately my depression makes me more depressed when I think I’m bringing others down with me so I keep to myself for the most part. Just know things will get better. Other things will pop up and make things seem worse. But take control of what you can and forget the rest. Didn’t get the job you want? Not in your control, but putting out as many applications to other companies as possible? Totally in your control. Find what you can control and focus on that and hopefully that bit of advice will help you as much as it has me.
Good on this kid! I hope he works hard in school and gets a good job.
Discrimination definitely played into him getting a car out of this as I've seen many other kids involved. I can't fucking wait for people to stop discriminating.
Local Medaille College in Buffalo reached out to Gwynn and offered him a full ride scholarship to study business, beginning this fall. Having originally planned to learn a trade in order to save up for college in the future, Gwynn now plans to study business with the goal of eventually beginning his own cleaning service.
Don’t do it bro! A trade will be infinitely more useful and will have significantly more job prospects than an undergrad business degree!
yes racism hard at work,I wonder what color the people were that donated all this stuff were, I don't know or really care, but us conservatives do good for those that do good
No, this is gay as fuck. He should have gotten a nice gift card to best buy and a thank you letter from the community at most, not a fucking car and college scholarship. That is insane.
Couldn’t agree more! GREAT story. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit the MSM narrative so thedonald.win is the ONLY place people will read it.
Tucker should cover this

Did you see those white girls getting called racist for cleaning up riot graffiti?

Exactly
Wow that's infuriating
This one?

So what? Don’t bring race into a story that doesn’t need that dimension. This is Americans helping each other. That’s all.
The story and reward is entirely about race though. I've helped people before, never got a car and scholarship out of the deal. This man is a good man but the reward far outweighs what he accomplished and you know it. You know this is public because the media wants our perception of race to change.
That’s entirely fair but I don’t know how else we can inspire people to get away from the race batting bullshit.

That article is all wholesome.
The kid was first going to learn a trade to save up for college, not get into debt.
He will now study business and eventually open a cleaning business. That man is going places.
exactly
I wouldn't make that assumption some of us had shitty deadbeat parents and most of us don't turn into bad people.
Dude also got a years worth of insurance for free by a local company! That’s the way you get life long customer.
I didn't realize The General had been around for that long. Here I thought they were a far more recent company.
I'M NOT A CRYING BIGOT YOU'RE A CRYIN BIGOT. DAMMIT!

Exactly! I just graduated college and I have not been able to achieve much of anything on my bucket list.
I would be absolutely furious at God and extremely hopeless/depressed if this is the end times, end of a free society, or the end of America.
I am not sitting down in a pew and tolerating hearing that we are near the end.
I have been through hell in life and I have overcome way too much to let anything get to me.
Never give up. We are all here for you
Thank you so much!

Good on all of them...
A small light in the darkness.

I fully expect CNN and MSNBC and all other leftwing rags to bury this story completely. No good unifying news allowed by the instigators of hate.
Don’t do it bro! A trade will be infinitely more useful and will have significantly more job prospects than an undergrad business degree!
Good news I needed

"See? We're creating opportunities for the black community." - BLM
Amazing. This kid is going places for sure!
This is America
I live in Buffalo, That car in that neighborhood...he won't have it for long. Should have given him camry or something
No, this is gay as fuck. He should have gotten a nice gift card to best buy and a thank you letter from the community at most, not a fucking car and college scholarship. That is insane.
