He is my Congressman, and he has earned my vote. South Jersey is ignored by our State, and hopefully he will get some juice by supporting our President.

Do you think he is a true friend to Patriots, or is he just a slithering snake infiltrating republican party? I'm not from NJ, and only know he was agaisnt impeachment.

He's not a infiltrating snake, he has become Democrats most hated man in all of NJ, resigning from the Democrat party, voting against impeachment and hosting a huge rally for POTUS in his district in Wildwood, NJ. His entire staff resigned when he announced, so his decision had consequences. Is he true America First MAGA? We'll see, we'll hold his feet to the fire as we watch his voting record.

One thing for sure though, he has done more as a converted Democrat for POTUS than many other Republicans - he's proactively helping POTUS. I'll take him over a RINO any day of the week.

South Jersey used to think that Trenton would punish them. Trenton should be worried that they might not be able to any more...

Fren, I'm sure it will in due time. Let's try to get him elected first. I bet that with some time in congress as a republican he'll warm up to our agenda and his vote will reflect that, POTUS IS VERY persuasive. Alpha POTUS? You betcha! Let's concentrate on the task at hand first; getting him elected and flipping the house. The rest is par for the course at this time. We can not loose our focus, this election is very important and owning the House is paramount.

Excellent move by POTUS. There's another R, Bob Patterson, running against Van Drew in the primary. Running a lot of negative ads. What a jerk he'll look like after this endorsement. Van Drew is my congressman.

There's more people like JVD in NJ than people think. Unfortunately places like Newark are just so damn densely packed.

I don't know man, he still smells like a Democrat, how long does it take for the stink to wear off?

IDK for sure . . . but what got my attention was, when he "turned right", he said he was threatened; that if he didn't vote to impeach, he was told if he didn't, he would never work in politics again, etc. He not only didn't listen, he talked about being threatened. No one, or no one I can name, has ever had the courage to say that, and explain why they all seem to be such ardent supporters of the Left over matters that 5-10 years ago, no one in their right mind would have ever thought were ok. No one else ever admitted that. He did. I thought it took courage.
