Fox news still has the nerve to call the protesting despite intentional injury of fellow Americans (who happen to be employed as police officers).
For as stupid as it was, occupy wall street hung around for weeks and was generally annoying as hell and literally full of shit didn't go about nearly as much vandalism and anarchy as this.
Shit even greenpeace and their hippies don't go about injuring Japanese whalers.
I seem to remember OWS having a lot of assaults and rapes in the camps, and organizers refusing to go to the police. But yes not a whole lot of vandalism.
IDK, people seem to have these romanticized ideas about what Occupy Wall Street was, but it went to shit almost immediately.
I knew an Occupy guy. He was just a homeless loser who moonlighted as an activist because he didn’t work and had nothing better to do. He was a Portland street rat. In Portland the Occupy camp had a whole underground ecosystem going with currency and jobs and stuff. It was weird. They did have fights with the police too. I think the difference is that it was just ahead of their time. Things have escalated a lot since then and I’m sure some of those people, at least here, are involved with Antifa now.
