More importantly do they think this will demilitarize police? When I was a kid cops all had revolvers. They moved to magazine pistols and shotguns in the car when gang members started rolling glocks/sawed off. They got ARs when they got out gunned with rifles (North Hollywood shootout where cops ran to gun shops to arm up in the middle of the fight).
