If you have to leave a state because of your failed ideologies, I would hope that wakes you up to vote against them next time around. Could totally backfire if that is the case.

They can't strike--every PD makes new hires sign a notice that being an 'essential service,' they face immediate firing if they strike. Its like what the air traffic controllers when Reagan was president--in violation of their employment contract, they struck and Reagan fired all of them.
In NYC thos 800 officers who retire can immediately be hired by any other PD.

My pretty little town is 10 miles away down the mountain and life is now...quiet, satisfying, safe, wonderful. I paid for it with 25 years of insanity in Chicago, and now enjoy every day of my life.
What they should do is report to work, and when called to go out they all go sit in a coffee shop or go down and sit in the park or something and just not go on patrol. Why go on patrol? What's the point?
If the crime stats dont go up then the officials are lying worse than china.

We've been saying for years that electing commies is dangerous, but these smooth brained children didn't listen. I am finally glad there are repercussions for their choices but it's very sad indeed.
I still say they shouldn't resign but rather, now knowing there is talk of disbanding the police, should arrest the Mayor and the Governor, with the intention of protecting the mass majority of people who want law and order to return
