I lived in Alaska and it’s low key a socialist state already. Mayor of Anchorage is from San Francisco. The governor wants more refugees from the Horn of Africa. Crime, drugs, and homelessness are prevalent. It is a literal gold mine but can’t exploit it. Latest I heard was they want to build solar farms in a place with a crazy amount of gas and oil. Literally this sorta shit was what originally made me redpilled. I bought into the mentality because of a few things, but bought into the media hype about how if he was re-elected we'd end up in a world war, bought into the whole emotions of it all in how Kerry was portraying a second term for Bush. Then the election comes up and Kerry capitulates while things were still pretty tight, and suddenly everyone acted like it was no big deal, just go on with your life like nothing changed. It took me a little afterwords before I realised it was a shitload of lip service and there's not really much of a difference between the two parties. The only difference is how each partys craziest supporters act like a cult and look for validation in reinforcing why they continue to buy into it. If I had seen Al Gore suddenly back Bush in the '04 election and say Kerry was a massive threat like this, I'd have redpilled so quick I'd hit 88 miles per hour and travel back to the future.
