If people get put into a situation where there's no one to help them, they're going to buy guns and shoot any threat to themselves or their families.
Criminals are going to start dying in record numbers if the police get defunded.

The suburbs already have the weapons, we've just never really considered "en masse assault" and having to prove self-defense.

No police mens they can’t take the guns. Perhaps more residents will legally arm, CC and open-cary. May be a bit wild-wild west. I don’t want to test it but seems like there may be no choice.
They want their own people - they do not want the current police force (which are mostly conservative- or at least not indoctrinated). Radical left community safety officials or something will be their plan.
