Not defending this guy because video never tells the entire story...did the mob attack because he blew through a barrier, was it intentional, did he hit someone with his car. Was he just trying to get away? Seems nobody was actually shot and not sure if he got away or not. Not sure if the mob was attacking but you can either drive or flash a gun and make an escape.

So assuming he did not intentionally drive into the mob (also saw someone throw something at his car). He should be justified in self-defense. Those mobs kill people once one starts attacking. Again, not defending this guy. Hopefully he did not do this with the intent of setting-up a scenario where he could shoot someone.

No idea what happened before, but the guy he shot had half his body in the car and was punching the driver. It seemed to end with self-defense.

He got out of the car and ran strait to the cops.
