The GoFundMe shit is kind of gross to begin with, but if people want to piss their money away, that's fine. It's just really odd that they initially wanted $1.5 million to bury a guy who probably had negative assets- it wasn't like his death prevented him from taking care of his kids. His death is the ONLY reason they will be taken care of.

1.5 million is not an excessive amount to make up for the lifetime lost income of George. If George was unlike most Americans and fiscally responsible, he would have had life insurance that would provide this same sort of function.
$14 mil is excessive though, and regardless, 1.5 mil or 14, they are going to blow it.

You don't need millions of dollars to do that- for people who have never had money, a windfall like that, usually ends up poorly. The numbers aren't in their favor. As an aside, they will basically have to dedicate a large portion of their time to BLM causes and other bullshit. You don't get MSM backing and money like that for "free." Mo money. Mo problems.
