The GoFundMe shit is kind of gross to begin with, but if people want to piss their money away, that's fine. It's just really odd that they initially wanted $1.5 million to bury a guy who probably had negative assets- it wasn't like his death prevented him from taking care of his kids. His death is the ONLY reason they will be taken care of.
Here is what the money is supposedly going to:

The money will be used for funeral, burial, travel and grief counseling expenses related to George’s Memorial Day death under the knee of a Minneapolis police officer, the site said.

So now his kid's and by extension, his baby mama's are multimillionaires? Seems legit. What kind of fuckery is going on here? I'm positive that the money is going to totally fuck the family up and someone will be arrested in a year or two for fucking up their fiduciary responsibility, but in the meantime, it's going to be interesting to see how they piss it away.
I kinda wonder what BLM are gonna do with all their money. They could probably succesfully petition to be given a reservation or two Native American style. With those billions in corporate 'please don't loot us or give us bad press' money they could probably offer some poor blacks a better life there on the reservations... itnitially at least. I'm sure it would go to shit within a few years because their ideas are such obviously unsustainable hot garbage.
