Working in the emergency department and knowing most of our police officers by first name due to the fact they haul in so many meth addicts, either for peace disturbance, assault on bystander or officer, b &e, homicidal threats... , I can tell you that the street social workers are terrified of the addicts.
Nothing is more unpredictable and violent than a criminal hallucinating on crack cocaine.
