Being against defunding of the police is a pro-police argument?

WTF. I don't want ethnic militias fighting each other in American cities. It would be good to have a police force that all Americans have trust in.

Police Brutality is not a race issue and is an issue that needs to be solved, though I think there are much bigger issues that ought to be prioritized. The murder of Daniel Shaver was horrifying to witness and should never happen.

I'm anti calling any group with one broad stroke. BLM thinks they're righteous, but there are plenty of bad apples in that group too.

This is my point.

It's not a race issue.

So why haven't patriotic Americans made icons of men like Daniel Shaver and Tony Timpa?

I didn't say I support defunding of the police. Hell, I honestly think we're being gas lit to believe that any Dems truly want that.

But where is the actual real anger towards the militarization of the police by patriotic Americans of all races?

It could be a useful debate, but it won’t be.

It's a class issue more than anything else. We've been in a long term downtrend in violent crime and if that persists then disarming the police becomes a much more viable argument.

We need jobs and dignified jobs for all Americans and an emphasis on strong families. The biggest social determinant in Upward Mobility is having 2 parents in a household.

If there is a bounce back in the violent crime rate after police departments in cities are defunded then I'd expect gang membership to increase and be opposite of what we want to happen.
