Affordable Care Act, Patriot Act, and about a million others - how could you be against affordable Healthcare? Who wouldn't want to support patriotism? Always be cautious of any of these feel good laws- they disguise them to pass them past the average American's brain
We have to do what the left does, change the rhetoric to be in our favor. Instead of Black Lives Matter, it is ALL Black Lives Matter. Black Fathers (leftists hate this), Black Christians (leftists hate this), Black Police (leftists hate this), Black Military (leftists hate this), Black Conservatives (leftists really hate this).
The more “You ain’t black!” moments we can get from the left, the better.
I decry the 150+ black men killed in my city each year, and have for years when I could no longer ignore the severe damage it ripples through my community. I grew up around these men in coffins and cells, and they were my friends as little kids together in the same rough neighborhood.
But me calling out this absolute travesty within the black community now makes me literally Himmler. I can never get behind a group that purports to seek justice for the black experience but purposefully ignores this issue. If BLM were holistic in their concern for the young black men who takes lives and lose lives by one another, then I would be on board.
Notice how all “black issues” pushed by leftists are handouts, policing, prison, and drug offenses. The message Democrats push by doing this is that blacks are criminals who either beg or commit crime because they are incapable of supporting themselves without handouts.
We need a counter movement “Black Opportunity Matters” to push education and skills training followed by available American jobs.
I met this guy on the streets of San Francisco in front of the Salesforce tower on the way to lunch. Really humble dude shook his hand and reassured him we exist even in the most trying of areas of California.
