One lady I had tinassist when I was a cop was he'll bent on taking a Mexican baby from her parents because they lived in a shack on a farm.. The father was ready to kill her and she was dead wrong. I stepped in and overruled her. The shack was the cleanest most organized living space I had seen in a while. They ntook great care of their child and the vitch just wanted to throw her weight around. I told her if she pursues it I wouldn't help her. Social workers are the overseers of state. foster parent here. about half of all social workers ive worked with are really good. the next 40% quit the job. 10% not enough to info tell. threads like this made me dread becoming a foster parent but my wife kept asking me to try. it has been great through and through. if you think kids with homeless drugged out / repeat offender / low iq (like 60-70) birth parents should have to suffer through that youre wrong. everyone talking about kids getting ripped from their good families... ive heard the same horror stories as you but everything i have SEEN and KNOW is the system and courts try their hardest to keep families together. (this is where the most HARM i have seen occurs-- when families are reunited too soon / too mich benefit of the doubt)
Dems love paying 6 figures to government officials to be "active in needy communities" instead of, ya know, putting that money towards things like food, water, and skills-based education.
How many black men can you get a trade education for, for the price of a single social worker? Probably 5-10 every year.
Each social worker is a small business loan not given.
