Look, fat. If you want to be a bad dude like Corn Pop, you need an AR-14.

Just one? Take your pick.

  1. Pistol - 9mm or .45, semiauto only. Revolvers are for hipsters and the 1800s. Do your research. Expensive guns may not be the best, cheap guns may not be the worst.

  2. Shotgun - 12ga. Opt for semiauto, but pump works fine too. Buy a 18.5" tactical shotgun, like the mossberg 590m, unless you plan on hunting with it. Avoid the Shockwave or the tac-14, unless you just love novelty guns.

  3. AR or AK - .223/5.56 for AR or 7.62 for AK, I'm sure many will disagree with me on this, but the .300 is not as effective as the .223/5.56, as it's a heavy, clunky round. AR is a better made rifle, in my opinion, but if you desperately need an AK, the choice is yours.

  4. Long range rifle - .308, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC (if you can afford it). All of these calibers are decent, although the PRC has the best range. This is the most expensive category and you'll need to buy a scope, unless the rifle you chose came with one, in which case you will need to replace that scope.

This is your basic gun toolkit. This will allow you to protect yourself and others, as well as provide for yourself and others. I hope this helps.

Can't go wrong with a Glock-- especially if your experience with sidearms is limited.

They don't misfire the way that some other pistols tend to (such as the Colt M1911) so you won't accidentally shoot yourself in the foot while getting familiar with it. :)

Glocks are also easy to clean, dis-assemble, and reload. They also are reliable (don't jam), affordable, and one of the more "modifiable" options on the market.

(Sauce: My father-in-law is a very experienced private arms dealer, and we had this exact same conversation, once upon a time.)

What's the password. We wouldn't want cucks to injure themselves.

I am looking at a Springfield Armory XD-M Elite 4.5 OSP. 22 Rounds and a threaded barrel for a future silencer.

I will probably also get a 3" XD sub-compact for EDC. I am still looking in to it. I am talking to my gun-shop later today to see how I go about getting them shipped there.
