Probable reason for this: Japan has been looking to China as a possible export market over the last year. Cooperation between Japanese video game developers and Chinese megapublishers like Tencent has been on an alarming rise. No surprise then, that most Japanese and Chinese video games are poorly designed "gacha" SCAMS. Maybe Trump should tariff those as well to discourage toxic and often fraudulent business practices..
