Honestly, this is my biggest problem with liberalism. No one is allowed to opt out. No matter how little their current cause du jour has to do with you, you're not allowed to keep your mouth shut even in the name of peace and avoiding offending anyone. They allow no refuge. There is no "safe space" from their outrage. You can't have any hobby or interest that allows you to just turn off politics for so much as a moment of brief respite.
It's beyond, "If you aren't with us, you're against us". It's, "If you aren't constantly kissing our feet and telling us how great we are and how horrible everyone else is, you must be destroyed".
literally listened to LZ Granderson articulate this explicitly on ESPN radio this morning. paraphrasing from memory: "people now realize we have to get off this soft 'I'm not racist' stuff, like nah, brah, that don't cut it no more - what's necessary is for people to be anti-racist"

Post modern liberalism...it is no longer enough to not be racist, you have to be actively anti-racist.
At least that is the policy they apply to others. For them it is implied that it is fine to be racist as long as you support anti-racism.
Just look at their history to confirm that and look at the present to confirm it again. (governor Black face)
