Valve is an actual private corporation. They don’t trade their stock publicly, which is why they’ve been able to #resist political pressure from the woke factions so effectively. The day they announced their easing of content guidelines a miniature saltmine opened up in what is left of the game journo sphere.

I honestly was disappointed to find that out, but then I realized yeah, they are able to, at the very least, preserve their dignity by not having shareholders force them into dumb shit like this. Given that their area is historically Dem voting I can see most of them being so, but I honestly hope this experience helps their employees that are left-leaning change their tune

On the opposite end, Chi-com Tencent owns 40% of Epic's shares, so.. yeah...

I'm just happy that Tesla is public and still keeps some integrity. I made a lot of profit from their stocks during this (several thousands, but I honestly pulled out immediately after the rocket went up simply because I reached my set goal and my nerves were too shot to keep it in further. Stock trading gets hella stressful the more you put in)
