I’ve heard Mormons (within the last 10 years) refer to black people as having “the mark of Cain” - meaning that’s why their skin was black and it had bad connotations. Many of them still seem to believe this. Old Mitt there is supposedly and Elder or Deacon in the church. Talk about racist!
