Was odd for me visiting Maine from Texas. They were serving Gulf Shrimp. Are they really that low on shrimp or is it artificially generated?

In Florida most people eat Maine Lobster. Florida lobsters don't have the big claws and people expect that. It's mostly branding.

Which is sad, because gulf lobster is sweet and tender and wonderful, and in my humble opinion much nicer than Maine lobster which seems to be popular mostly due to fashion.

Maine shrimp are tasty but super super tiny. Tourists expect a nice big shrimp so they bring those in.
