r/news is an absolute dumpster fire of articles titled like "he was kneeling and telling cops he loved them, and they arrested him", but body cam footage would paint a completely different picture of all those articles. I know because i spent way to much time at the occupy protests in 2012 and it was the exact same thing, someone completely disrespecting a cop to their face for 20 minutes straight asking them why they are such pieces of shit over and over again, and then they get shoved after being told to move 15 times and all the article would say is "police assault man who was just asking them a question". Its complete bullshit and it detracts from what value a protest has.
Yup, if you've ever been at an event where police did something make sure to watch the news that night just in case any part of you isn't convinced they are anti-reality propaganda.
