Are they setting it up to exonerate the cop before the election and really blow up the powderkeg? I saw that sign "You think this is bad, wait until they find him not guilty" and really wouldn't put it passed the democrats, but surely a trial like that couldn't be concluded before the election. Biden already fund-raised off it, and is funneling money into BLM and other groups, so I don't think it's beyond the depravity of the DNC or Ellison.
