Samesies.

Masks are for faggots.

The hysteria is made up over a nothjng virus and the masks dont protect against shit. Im not playing dress up for the sake of others feelings

lifeisahologram 23 points ago +23 / -0

The amount of people touching the front of their mask or exposing their nose, is too damn high lol. That alone proves this virus is BS because everyone should be dying with how poorly they understand mask usage.

It's like wearing a condom you cut out the actual condom part, and only wear the elastic around your dick lol

If you see someone wearing the mask under their nose, please stop assuming they are retarded. I and many others have to wear a mask to maintain compliance with our employers. I would like to grandstand on my political beliefs, but it could mean the end of my job. I have to earn for my family. When I wear a mask, I don't cover my nose so I can breathe through it, unobstructed. Please, please assume if you see someone wearing it incorrectly, like I do, that they are wearing it that way on purpose, a quiet act of rebellion that will not get them fired.

Hckyhillbilly 10 points ago +10 / -0

It’s not the people who are wearing them at work. It’s understood sometimes you have no choice. It’s the mom with the shopping cart full of kids who look at you like you’re a leper, for going maskless. When they are all wearing theirs completely uselessly.

5
Gabbs1212 5 points ago +5 / -0

I didn't get to see this personally, but a buddy of mine got a picture. A guy pulls his mask down, pulls off his glove with his teeth, so that he had a hand free to text. Left said glove in his mouth for minutes, before putting both mask and glove back on.

CSMKek 2 points ago +2 / -0

Plandemic aside, he’s just a dirty bastard.

4
PNWArtist 4 points ago +4 / -0

My favorite was yesterday: mommies children masked up and mommy dangling the mask off one ear.

3
Donarudo_Taranpu 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don't wear mine in the grocery store. And if I get dirty looks I either smile politely and smugly, or form a cup with my hands and cough loudly, like I'm directing the cough toward the Karen. I do that second thing less often, only when my wife isn't with me, but it's been fun to see the Karen's wince and flee.

7
Recken 7 points ago +7 / -0

100% ditto

4
PNWArtist 4 points ago +4 / -0

Same here.

I got a note from my doctor saying the thing made me sick to wear all day. For the sake of keeping my job and not being accosted by Karen as I walk through the store I fake-wear it under my nose and draped so lightly it barely touches my lips.

4
lifeisahologram 4 points ago +4 / -0

That’s fair. I shouldn’t assume.

0
dianneschinesedriver 0 points ago +2 / -2

Fair enough, do that shit alone in your car though...

3
Donarudo_Taranpu 3 points ago +3 / -0

Why the ever loving fuck would I wear a mask in my car? That's ultimate faggotry right there. I've seen plenty of 'em too; individuals, alone in their car, sealed inside wearing a mask. That's absolutely retarded. Are you advocating for wearing masks? I don't understand your comment. If you're one of those "wear a mask" people, and you actually wear your muzzle while driving your car, please just kill yourself.

5
dianneschinesedriver 5 points ago +5 / -0

Sorry I was not clear; wearing a mask alone in your car is absolutely the highest form of faggotry. My prior comment was a half-assed attempt at making this point as a joke. Keep up the good work.

Why bash mask-wearers? Is that really where you want to put your energy?

16
Slayenemy909 16 points ago +19 / -3

Lol why coddle the delusional and hysterical?.. and it took zero energy. You'll be ok karen

-2
HillarysHairyAss -2 points ago +1 / -3

I don’t think willo’s comment made that assertion. We’ve all been fed hysterical lies about this, but many still haven’t learned the many truths. Many people still feel uneasy, and if someone wants to wear a mask, why should you or I care? I don’t wear one, but it doesn’t bother me when others do. I don’t think it’s necessary personally, but neither is tattooing a giant BLM fist on your face, and I couldn’t give two shits if a million people went out and did that tomorrow because they feel it’s necessary for whatever reason...because it’s a free country and it’s their choice and it has no effect on my life.

-20
ArnoldMyMainMan -20 points ago +3 / -23

I mean it takes zero energy to wear a mask but OK.

18
Slayenemy909 18 points ago +18 / -0

IT ALSO JUST PROMOTES THE UNFOUNDED PANIC MINDSET. no thanks,

furthermore wearing a mask at all times promotes bacterial growth and can lead to other ailments like bacterial pneumonia... all while NOT PROTECTING YOU AT ALL FROM A VIRUS.

so what's the point? besides the virtue signaling

-10
Willo -10 points ago +2 / -12

I get your point. But why bash a 90 year old who has asthma and must make a weekly visit to the grocery. It’s like what’s it to you? No skin off your ass. Why fall into the bashing game. It’s petty and itself virtue signals! By the way, that 90 year old is my aunt. I volunteer to go to the local grocery for her, but it’s her one outing a week she looks forward to.

7
Slayenemy909 7 points ago +8 / -1

I have asthma too, and wearing those masks are actually detrimental to asthmatics, and promote bacterial infections. she's probably better off without it.

-3
HillarysHairyAss -3 points ago +1 / -4

I don’t think willo’s 90 year old aunt is virtue signaling.

-13
ArnoldMyMainMan -13 points ago +3 / -16

Point being that it’s kind of like my coworker who called us pussies for wearing glasses while weed wacking until he caught a pebble to the eye. Takes no energy to wear one and not wearing one seems to be like reverse-virtue signaling.

“Look at me, I’m not a cuck”

-some cuck

11
PNWArtist 11 points ago +11 / -0

Mmmm, analogies are always crummy. This analogy is worse than the usual.

Safety glasses = utility = good reason to wear them.

Face diaper = zero utility = no reason to wear one.

10
Slayenemy909 10 points ago +10 / -0

LOL , once again you are playing along like the masks are doing anything... are you going to wear them in perpetuity? considering the mortality rate is .26% and there's germs that have been active for centuries with a higher one?

use some logic and stop pushing a lie. you look pathetic.

this is nothing like your analogy as the MASKS LITERALLY SAY ON THE BOX THEY DON"T PROTECT FROM CORONAVIRUSES. but keep being condescending from your pulpit of hysteria devoid of facts. its cute.

SPEZ: NOTICE HOW ALL THESE MASK FAGS ARE BRAND NEW ACCOUNTS...

7
mharr1s 7 points ago +8 / -1

If you wear a mask willingly, you're just another NPC.

-2
HillarysHairyAss -2 points ago +1 / -3

My 89 year old grandmother who has diabetes and pancreatic cancer wears one willingly. I’ll be sure to explain what an NPC is to her so your comment can be validated.

That's what a Communist cuck would say.

6
PNWArtist 6 points ago +6 / -0

Not true, really. It's a choice, which takes energy.

The choice is to wear something with zero utility. then you ask yourself why, and you rationalize it somehow.

Choice = energy.

I don’t think anyone on here is arguing that requiring masks isn’t ridiculous, because it is. And I don’t think anyone on here is arguing that the vast majority of the population need to wear a mask, because they don’t. I think we all agree with what you’re saying. Some of the other comments are bashing people for being concerned about their health or the health of their loved ones. Do they need to feel that way? Probably not, but the point is that everyone’s situation is different and it’s their choice as free Americans to wear a mask if they so choose, whether any of us agree with it or not. Personally, I refuse to wear one because I think they’re unnecessary and probably spreading more disease (in this case) than they’re preventing. But it’s none of my damn business if someone wants to ride their bike down the street with a mask on. Same reason why it’s none of my business of some dude wants to cut his dick off. It has zero effect on my life.

Is this where you wanna be when jesus comes back?
-Joe Dirt

-4
HillarysHairyAss -4 points ago +4 / -8

I never wore a mask either, but realize when I see others wearing them that their situation may be different than mine. When I see a fit young person wearing one, my first instinct is to think “how ridiculous”, but then I remember that maybe they have an 85 year old grandmother with health issues living with them.

Spez: Why the downvotes? All I’m saying is that people are free to make the choice to wear a mask if they want. This is America, is it not? They are basing their decisions on their situation and what information is given to them. Information that many conservatives know is exaggerated. I clearly said that I don’t wear masks, but obviously some people feel like they need to. Who am I to judge them?

-4
Willo -4 points ago +2 / -6

Thank you. Personal freedom to decide for ourselves is important. My 90 year old aunt with asthma from years of smoking wants to wear a mask. Why bash her?

22
Brickwell 22 points ago +23 / -1

I absolutely refused. Just last weekend a neighbor was having an estate sale. I walked over and some woman told me I had to wear a mask. I balked and said "No, thanks". She then offered to sell me a mask. I again said, "No thanks. I'm not going to live in your clown world" and left.

I live in a mask-mandatory epicenter and I can almost say the same thing.

I wore the Mask Of Shame once and once only: my phone was at 15%, my charger had died, the only place open was a corporate chain with a guard, and they were closing in ten minutes. Felt dirty as hell to do it, but I haven't done it since.

Same here. When it first happened, I thought about it because I was still unsure how dangerous the Chinese virus was, wanted to be safe. But I couldn't buy one even if I wanted to. Now as I've learned about the virus, I'm glad I never did.

3

-3
jamsycramsitinhisass -3 points ago +1 / -4

That's good you have your own farm.

3
BillionsAndBillions 3 points ago +4 / -1

It's easy. I just don't comply. I walk into the store, I get dirty looks, I don't care. Pay for my stuff and leave.

3
MakeCaliGr8Again 3 points ago +3 / -0

Good for you. My friend tried that at Costco socal. Soon, 3 staff went running for him demanding to out the muzzle on. Company policy says mask or door.

3
BillionsAndBillions 3 points ago +3 / -0

Smaller stores don't have the resources or desire to enforce it, and the staff don't seem to care enough to enforce it, at least where I am.

Amen. Had to cancel Costco but I shopped there like once a year. Told them I'd be back once they cancel their stupid mask policy.

6
Donarudo_Taranpu 6 points ago +6 / -0

Do you not have a public facing job, or a Costco membership?

I've had to wear one several times for my customer's sake, especially those in the medical business, and that goes doubly for the hospitals I've had to visit. At Costco I wear a bandana or they won't let me in the store.

I hate the fucking things, but there was a major shift in the winds after Memorial Day, with almost no one wearing one or asking me to to wear one. Hospitals and clinics and seniors home's are now the only places insisting I wear a mask.

I gotta earn pede, and that means I can't grandstand my political beliefs on the job and refuse to wear a mask to a cancer clinic or hospital. Wear the mask, do the job, and take it off when the job is done.

I'm proud of you anyways.

Masks are for the fearful... I had not worn a mask until very recently... my frickin tooth got jacked up an had to go to the dentist! they make you wear a mask in the waiting room than shove their hands in your mouth for 2 hours.

I work in Cardiac Exercise for those recovering after heart attacks etc. non essential now... so McDonald’s, tanning salons, Walmart, cops, their all 100% essential but if you had a fuckin heart attack and want to be hooked up an monitored while you exercise, NOPE! Go home and die. I’m bringing this up because we only represent not even the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the fall out we are GOING to suffer when people are done feeling like their saving the planet by ignoring the true problems that never stopped when we all did. They’ll be more dead people from the negligence of your supposed health care officials and politicians than ever before.

My work doesn’t care. They’ve stopped all outpatient services and justify it all with CDC guidelines. Meanwhile, my coworkers are mostly Karen’s who’ll repeat whatever the hell they hear.

4
indigo_truther 4 points ago +4 / -0

same, but i would probably wear one if i had to go into work since the state is requiring it. (working remotely.)

also, truth be told, have been getting more stuff delivered & am super nervous going into shops.

i just try to breathe deep & smile. most of the kids aren't wearing masks, and seems like 1/4 of the adults have stopped - at least to the places i have visited.

so, once i get someone being nice to me or see someone else without a mask, i usually calm down. i can live through people giving me the stink-eye, though.

i'd like to think that me not wearing a mask makes the other "rebels" feel better, too.

I had to re-up my eye contacts prescription this morning, the vision center required a mask. It was the first time I took that thing out of my purse and put it on my face this whole time. It was awful. I have been to work every day (essential employee), and have gone to the grocery store every weekend. It has never felt necessary to put a mask on my face.

I hate the word mask now.

If me putting on a mask before I enter a customers warehouse or a walmart or wherever, why not? Again, wear a mask to protect a business from the government.

I do, but only once a week. I am shopping for a nearly 95 year old woman. She recently had a blood transfusion and is suffering from bowel cancer. I bring her shopping into her kitchen. She can’t manage it from the door. So, I wear a mask when I bring in her shopping. Beyond that no. It’s my choice.

3
nowrongwrong 3 points ago +3 / -0

I only wore a mask once.

I was taking a 90yo man from church to the bank because they needed him to sign some paperwork in person. He wore a mask (and maybe it was sensible, given his age) and I decided to wear one in order to be able to help him walk into the branch on my arm rather than dump him off at the curb.

I have steadfastly refused to wear a mask and only patronized businesses that ignored the rule or merely finger-wagged if I refused to wear one, but the bank was adamant that I needed a mask in order to escort him in.

So I compromised for his sake. I'm okay with that, and every other business that has asked me to leave because I refused to wear a mask will never get another dime from me again.

3
Tip-O-Matic 3 points ago +3 / -0

I refuse to wear one also where it's required based on government guidelines. I won't enter a store that has a mask requirement.

The only time I have worn a mask is when my wife I went to meet with our homebuilder at his office. I did it out off respect for him. That was his office, on his property. We told him that we aren't mask people, and asked him what he preferred. He politely stated that he'd feel more comfortable if we did.

I see why everyone can't stop touching their faces. I played with the damn thing the entire hour we were in there, and had to remove my glasses because they kept fogging up.

If my office full of snowflakes tells us we have to wear one when we go back to working in the office, I'll just request to keep working from home. If they refuse, I will have to make a decision to stand on principal, and possibly lose my job, or I'll have to cave.

I can completely sympathize with those who wear one in order to keep their jobs.

Wearing a mask, like any other decisions we make every day, should be a personal preference, and not a requirement. Let me make my own decisions.

3
DeusVultIntensifies 3 points ago +3 / -0

I stopped wearing mine which can cause me trouble if a co-worker sees this. I just can't play along with this farce any longer. Even the CDC published a research article in May showing masks are ineffective against viruses. Now the WHO states asymptomatic persons are rarely contagious.

Surprisingly this last week I have been getting dirty looks which did not happen the week before. I think people are just genuinely more miserable this week due to reading the news with its never ending fear porn.
