Somehow we need to focus specifically on separating out the organization from the phrase. Just like they started making a point about supporting the "PEACEFUL protests" and not the riots. Somehow we have to break through the conditioning so they start saying they support the idea, and not the group.
The idea has it's own problems, but getting them to understand there is a group of terrorists using that name is more important.
Do I think Black lives matter? Of course. Do I support Black Lives Matter? Absolutely not. That recent Reddit AMA revealed that there is literally no engine under the hood at BLM. It's a sham and what they stand for isn't actually Black lives. I've actually found this stance (especially after that AMA) to be extremely disarming of hardcore leftists.
