They, on the other hand, reject the idea that they have faults to such extremes that they'd rather burn everything to the ground to literally make everything a zero sum result.
I've always found the "elephant in the [living] room" saying hilarious. The person invoking it is desperately trying to steer your attention to the thing the elephant represents, to them.
But I am suddenly mesmerized by the tangible fantastic idea of the elephant itself and the stuff coming out of them consists of words, but it is not speech in the true sense: Like noise uttered in unconsciousness, like the quacking of a duck.
The funny thing is, I was going to make a comment in here about elephants when I read the OP, before I read your post. But it was going to be for an entirely different reason.
I was going to post: If Pepe is voting Republican, shouldn't he be riding an elephant rather than a donkey?
